Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained pastor from Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed an early aptitude for sports when she was taking classes at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that moment. Within 10 weeks of her first tryout she came in second place in the 200 meter event at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed an athletic contract with Adidas. She then attended the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic medal in 2004 at the Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. Felix set an Junior World Record taking 200m in 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest ever world winner in the 200m in the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at her first Olympics and in the Olympics of Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo consistently placing within the top three of her events.
