Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha, also popularly known as Gugu is a British stage actress and film actor. She gained fame after appearing on the BBC's Doctor Who,' a British science-fiction television show. Chelsea Joy Handler was born on February 25 75th, 1975, at Livingston, New Jersey. She was the eldest of six kids in the family. Handler's parents were both homeowners. Her father was an used car seller. Her mother immigrated to the United States in 1958, in the form of an immigrant from Germany. After 10 years of fighting breast cancer, Handler passed away in 1989. Handler was raised Reform Judaism by her father who was Jewish. Handler resided in a beautiful community with a wonderful upbringing. At the age of 19 She relocated into Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in acting. In order to support herself, Handler began to work as an actress. When she turned aged 21, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time, because she realized her story telling abilities. Handler began her stand-up career joining the female-only Oxygen group, who featured in a tv show named Girls Behaving BADLY. The series was famous for its secret camera and the practical joke. This reality show ran from 2002 until 2005. Handler then started appearing on other TV shows such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was also the correspondent of The Tonight Show. Handler was given her first major break in the form of hosting her own E! Show in 2006. Named The Chelsea Handler show. The show ran for two seasons. Handler performed at the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour on American soil in the following year.
